Marty gets interviewed at the factory for it's 2012 Season Launch!

Hilux 481 is currently undergoing a massive strip back and re-spray getting ready for it unveiling and first race at Warialda on the 24th March.
With scars of the 2011 season getting bogged & sanded back to with in an inch of life the new look car is starting to come together.

"Once the decals hit it and the fiber pannels go one, it'll look great, just great" Marty Dal Santo said.

The Warialda Motorsport Club has announce that the Warialda 200 will begin with scrutiny on Friday night, with a welcome return to the main street in front of the Royal Hotel...

Wideopen Motorsport Media spoke to our resident crowd pleaser Greg 'Trimmy' Trim about the Warialda 200 and the changes made;

"Last year it was a different format and we played by the rules however it was Very bad for the punters, they came to see ONE thing they came for.. THE CARS. To take away the parade down the main st, well, its an outrage!

For many this is a highlight of the Warialda weekend, and we're glad to see it back!"

So, it’s back to OLD SCHOOL bigger than ever this year, with a street carnival and cars parked up on the main street for public viewing, locals handing out posters for the kids, barbeques and live music adding to a great night of entertainment to officially open the Hunter Rivmasta Warialda 200..

Wideopen Motorsport has bought up BIG for the 2012 season, a new semi trailer transporter wheeled its way into race HQ, complete with Wideopen signage and profile pictures of the boys!

Well, the first month of 2012 is well in the rear vision mirror, and with March close approaching the first round of racing is nearly here!

The 2011 season was a tough season for the Wideopen crew, with some epic highs but also gut wrenching lows and we are estatic about the 2012 race season.

In the workshop there have been many changes to both the car and the factory layout, but we'll update you on these later..
